The City of London practice has been an important part of the square mile of London for over a century. Originally dating from 1905 as Hodd Barnes & Dickins, we were at the centre of innovation in Optics and Contact Lenses in The City of London. Always striving with innovative techniques in contact lens wear and excellence in optical health has allowed the city practice to provide eye care to the financial centre of the country for over a century.

Since moving to our current premises in the late 1980’s, the Mason’s Avenue Practice has maintained its status as one of the most professional independent Opticians in the City of London. A policy of only employing professionally trained Optometrists & Dispensing Opticians, introducing the latest diagnostic instrumentation and fully computerising the Practice, has carried the Company successfully into the 21st Century.

Under our new set up, Masons Avenue Opticians has a great team of Experienced Optometrists using 4 fully equipped consulting rooms, Professionally Qualified Dispensing Opticians and Fully Qualified Optical Assistants, we are able to offer a high standard of service and investigate the most challenging of eye conditions and spectacle prescriptions.
