The Optomap Imaging device provides your practitioner with a bigger picture and increases the amount of clinical information we can see, that facilitates the early detection, management and effective treatment of disorders and diseases evidenced in the retina.

These include things such as retinal detachments and tears, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Retinal imaging can also indicate evidence of non-eye or systemic diseases such as hypertension and certain cancers.

There is no additional charge for this service as it is already included in our Enhanced Eye Examinations.
