Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 are in place to protect employees from any risks associated with Display Screen Equipment (DSE) (ie computers and laptops).
Masons Avenue Opticians has been working closely with many companies within The City Of London and beyond, conducting corporate sight tests and forging a Corporate Partnership to provide this important Health Screening Service for their employees. Part of our service includes offering Company VDU Sight Tests.
These Regulations only apply to all employers whose workers regularly use DSE as a significant part of their normal work. Eye tests are provided to ensure users can comfortably see the screen and work effectively without too much visual fatigue. For more information contact our Corporate Accounts Team.
Please note - deposits are taken for all online booking appointments made and we require 24hrs notice for cancellations. A fee will apply for late cancellations.Check our terms and conditions for more details.

How do I Book An Appointment
Corporate Partner Employees can have their corporate sight test by contacting the practice directly by phone, book online, use our App or come into the practice in person. You have the option to either a standard or enhanced eye examinations .Your Company may have their own booking procedure in place so please check, prior to scheduling your appointment ,with your benefits manager for more details. Corporate Partner Online Bookings will require a Corporate Partner deposit that is reimbursed upon completion of the appointment
What to expect from a Standard Corporate Partner Examination 30 mins
A Standard Corporate Partner Examination will include
- A Full Snellen Refraction
- A Visual field Check
- Eye pressure check
- Retinal photography
What to expect from an Enhanced Corporate Partner Examination 45 mins
- A Full Snellen Refraction
- A Visual field Check
- A full Muscle balance and motility check
- Eye pressure check and Keratometry scan
- Full OCT scan
- Full Optomap Imagery
- Full Dry Eye assement
- Full Glaucoma Assessment
- Referral to Private medical or NHS services
